APR's EMCS software is available for the 150BHP Golf including the later VVT engine (Variable Valve Timing). The software for the AGU Golf is available in a 1.0 bar configuration and produces 196 horsepower and 240 ft. lbs of torque respectively. On the later AUM VVT motor, which also as a different turbocharger specification, the horsepower gains are increased to around 212 BHP but with same torque. Our software is designed to operate within the turbochargers' efficiency range whilst producing huge increase in low end torque, improved throttle response and a much smoother, more powerful top end. Unlike other "chip tuning companies", we do not max out the boost pressure sensor in order to boost spike and give high initial torque readings. Although this maybe good for marketing purposes, it not only creates surge during acceleration at low RPM, but also reduces the life expectancy of the turbocharger considerably.

All APR chip upgrades use encryption, which serve several purposes. First, it keeps prying eyes out of our software and prevents lesser companies from copying the chip and degrading the product. Secondly, the encryption prevents the dealer from flash programming the ECU. Also, all APR software is undetectable to a dealers VAG diagnostic tool.

The APR R1 Diverter Valve

The APR R1 diverter valve was designed to be the ultimate solution to the problem of unreliable factory and aftermarket diverter valves and to be the leader in performance. Although most are of good design factory diverter valves are built in a very conscious manner and the materials and overall life and reliability suffer. For the performance enthusiast the diverter valve is an important component whose proper operation is paramount to optimal engine operation.

The R1 is designed for optimal performance. The main body of the valve is investment cast in an aluminum alloy. By utilizing this casting process in lieu of a more conventional machining process, APR was able to optimize the internal geometry of the valve to provide the ultimate in flow performance. This geometry cannot be created utilizing conventional machining. As such, the APR R1 has much better flow characteristics than other diverter valves. Combined with the low friction diaphragm assembly, this equates to a valve that is truly a performance leader.

This kit allows you to relocate the diverter valve from the hot side of the turbo to the cold side of the intercooler on the VW Golf, SEAT Leon (not Ibiza), Skoda Octavia and Audi A3, TT 1.8T engines of 150 - 180 HP. For the 210/225 versions of this engine please see FMDV225RLK

By relocating the valve in this way there are two benefits. Firstly, due to operating in lower temperatures the longevity of the valve is increased. Secondly, after relocation, the air that is recirculated back into the intake tract to the turbo will be cooler. Cooler air has a greater density. The greater the density of the charge mix in the cylinder the more power generated on combustion.

This pump is a straight drop-in, and uses the same factory pump pickups as your original pump, so there is no need to worry about fuel starvation when cornering.

APR Motorsport Manifold 1.8TThe APR Motorsport Intake Manifold is a high flow cast aluminum replacement intake manifold for any transverse 1.8T. Features of the manifold include larger runners with smoother transitions, a large barrel designed to reduce turbo lag, pressed and bead rolled vacuum fittings, OEM injector seats, and a 76mm throttle body.

The APR Motorsport Intake Manifold is available in either a black powdercoated finish or an unfinished casting for polishing or custom painting. It is also available with or without the throttle body, making the Intake Manifold flexible for both application and styling.

Applying the Intake Manifold to an APR Stage III or III+ will produce power levels in excess of the stock motor internals abilities and upgraded connecting rods are recommended.

Expected gains when applied to an APR Stage III or III+ are 40-50hp, 20-30ft-lbs and reduced turbo lag of approximately 100-200 rpm’s.                              £914.25


APR Oil Line Kit 1.8TAPR now offers a complete oil line kit for your 1.8T with a Garrett GT turbocharger. These lines have the correct fittings crimped directly to the stainless line, minmizing the chance for leaks on these critical parts.

The oil feed line is a -6 line that comes with all the necessary banjo fittings and hardware for the 1.8T. It also comes with the correct oil inlet restrictor for the GT series turbos.

The oil drain line is a -10 line and includes the CNC'ed flanges for both the drain of the turbocharger and the oil pan itself. This line also includes all the necessary hardware for a tight seal.                                                               £316.25

CDA filtering system is composed of a cylindrical carbon air box containing a washable filtering element. Substituting the original air box with our CDA, cold air is directly channeled through an internal airflow deflector to the filter and drawn into the engine with a very small pressure drop (patented system). The CDA system also includes a black alloy ducting (60 cm length) for connecting the system to an air intake on the front of the car. The system is available in two different dimensions: we advise Type 1 for engines up to 1,600 cc; Type 2 for bigger displacements. Every type is also available in different diameters on engine side for connections. Dyno and Datron Laser tests demonstrate the great performance of CDA filtering system.

This quickshifter, once installed, will allow you to shorten the movement of your gear shift in order to obtain the optimum shifting times required for performance driving . You can personally customise the throw to suit your own preference due to an infinitely adjustable pivot mechanism. This wide range of adjustment should allow for adjustment from stock to a 40% decrease in shifter throw. This unit will fit all VAG 6 speed gear boxes as found in the Audi TT MK1 2002 onwards and MK2(up to 2006), the VW Golf MK4 and MK5(up to 2006), SEAT Leon MK1 and MK2, Skoda Octavia MK1 and MK2(up to 2006) and the Audi A3 /S3 MK1 and MK2 .

Suspension bushes are some of the most highly stressed components fitted to a motor car. They undergo enormous strains and in the most arduous of conditions with no maintenance or lubrication.

The material they are manufactured from is a rubber compound containing natural products which deteriorate with age.
