Tuningwerkes offer VR6 customers the opportunity to install VF Engineering supercharger kits to their VR6 equipped cars.

These superchargers come in 3 stages, all of which increase BHP & torque. They are a reliable way of increasing the engine's power output and create an amazing engine note!

*We recommend VF Engineering mounts for all VR6 - whether you have superchargers or not!!

*Current state of your engine needs to be checked for suitability!

Stage 1 Supercharger Kit
Complete Supercharger System for the Mk3 Golf VR6 1991>1999

Supercharger Kit Includes:

-6psi V9F supercharger
-Billet brackets
-All pipework
-GIAC software
-Bosch bypass valve
-K&N Filter

VF-Engineering designed this kit from the ground up using the infamous "bullet proof" Vortech Engineering supercharger unit.

The key to the design of this supercharger kit is the simplicity in which it can be bolted-on. The kit is supplied with every part needed, and you can fit it all in ONE day!

Power from the silky smooth VR6 engine is increased from 170hp to 250hp and torque from 170 ftlbs to 225 ftlbs.

Stage 2 Upgrade

Stage 2 is a 'bolt on' upgrade to the Stage 1 System

It replaces the the OEM injectors with direct drop-in Bosch injectors. The boost is increased and a race bypass valve is included, giving a "whistle" sound on deceleration.

The additional 30hp makes mid-range acceleration more aggressive and the car a whole lot more fun to drive!

Stage 3 Upgrade

Stage 3 is an upgrade from Stage 2

Stage three is an intercooled, 10 psi upgrade. The corner mount high-flow intercooler means that the front bumper support does not have to be cut away and no cutting of the front bumper is nessicary either.

The ceramic aluminized coating used on the pipework is also included for the intercooler

Diesel Engine Tuning

We have recently taken on the Tunit range of modules for SDi, TD and TDI variants of the VW Audi Seat & Skoda ranges.

These are a superb piece of engineering. Simple to add on and simple to remove. Fitting is normally achieved in 30 minutes!

Induction Kits & Filters

We carry the BMC, Jetex, Carbonio & Powertec ranges. Jetex & BMC are virtually household names in filtration.

Manufactured from aerospace grade carbon fibre, Carbonio further improves this material by incorporating a proprietary thermal barrier layer in its construction. The result is an exceptionally light and strong part that minimizes intake temperatures. This ensures that the engine optimizes power by receiving the coldest and most oxygen rich air possible.

BMCs pedigree is second to none - used in F1 no less!!

CDA filtering system is composed of a cylindrical carbon air box containing a washable filtering element. Substituting the original air box with our CDA, cold air is directly channeled through an internal airflow deflector to the filter and drawn into the engine with a very small pressure drop (patented system). The CDA system also includes a black alloy ducting (60 cm length) for connecting the system to an air intake on the front of the car. The system is available in two different dimensions: we advise Type 1 for engines up to 1,600 cc; Type 2 for bigger displacements. Every type is also available in different diameters on engine side for connections. Dyno and Datron Laser tests demonstrate the great performance of CDA filtering system.

Suspension

Most of the Mk3's will be in need for suspension. There are a lot of companies out there. There are - however, only a few good ones with proven R&D, TUV approval etc.

There are cheap suspension kits on the market - and you will see more expensive ones too. The difference is not merely in the name. There is a lot of work that goes into suspension design. A lot of factors have to be taken into consideration before a manufacturer can release a kit. Take a look at the big names. Eibach - supply race cars the world over. H&R - Original Equipment suppliers to VW for their Golf R32s and to Mercedes race teams. KW Suspensions - suppliers to VW Racing! Do any of the cheaper brands have such pedigree? Do they have their own R&D?

Fitting a suspension kit to any car is a serious decision. Not only are looks improved, but the safety of the vehicle on the road is also an issue -that's why after years of hands on experience, we can advise you which kit is the best for your application.

Suspension bushes are some of the most highly stressed components fitted to a motor car. They undergo enormous strains and in the most arduous of conditions with no maintenance or lubrication.

The material they are manufactured from is a rubber compound containing natural products which deteriorate with age. It becomes softer and more pliable, resisting the forces placed on it less and less. Therefore allowing more and more movement of suspension components and offering less and less control over the suspension geometry.
