Mk3 Golf & Vento VR6 Front Mount
 The VW factory mount is constructed from 1 thin (rubber) bush and 1 thicker (rubber) bush. The thick bush is designed to compress on deceleration. The thin bush is designed to compress on acceleration. VF-Engineers chose to redesign this mount by swapping the purpose of the bushes and to use polyurethane instead of rubber. The new design is setup for the thicker bush to absorb load on acceleration - the point under which the mount is subject to maximum stress. Making it more effective.
This high performance mount has been tested on a 3.2 VR6 and supercharged MK3 VR6 with an all Quaife gearset running 270hp and provides a dramatic difference in the stability of the car when accelerating and braking hard. Gear changing under hard acceleration is also greatly enhanced. You will notice the difference.

Mk3 Golf & Vento VR6 Rear Engine Mount
The VW factory rear engine mount was designed as a soft mount flexible mount, to provide a very comfortable drive. It's drawback was the large amount of engine movement allowed under torque load and on hard acceleration. This engine "slop" greatly decreases stability and smoothness under high performance driving conditions and rapid gear selection.
VF-Engineering designed tooled up and manufactured a complete new replacement containing a molded, high durometer polyurethane insert. The mount is constructed from billet aluminum and supplied with the highest tensile hardware available. Fitting should take no more than 20 minutes and fits all MK3 Golf, Vento, Passat, VR6 and Corrado VR6.

Mk3 Golf & Vento Transmission Mount
 The VW factory mount is hydraulic and constructed from rubber vulcanized onto a steel plate. The rubber cavity contains a viscous oil which dampens shock and vibration loaded onto the mount via the transmission. Typically over a period of time failure occurs when the rubber cracks leaking out the oil. VF-Engineers chose to redesign this mount by eliminating the oil and designing the mount using a single piece of polyurethane instead of rubber. The new design is setup for longevity and stability.
