VW Golf 1.4 TSI Remap

The APR 1.4 TSI ECU Upgrade is an expertly recalibrated engine control strategy that remaps the boost pressure, timing and air fuel ratios to provide smooth and reliable power as if intended by the OEM. APR's ECU Upgrade is developed to work within the OEM and Tier 1 Supplier specifications for engine component stress tolerances and performance specifications. APR's ECU Upgrades are available in octane specific versions to allow you to take full advantage of the fuel quality available in your area. APR's patented EMCS functionality puts the control of the engine's operation at your finger tips and allows for additional features and options to be installed to your OEM ECU.

Stage I ECU Upgrade

Not only does our Stage I ECU Upgrade give you higher peak numbers of 134 horsepower (100kw) and 182lb-ft. (247nm) of torque, gains of up to 26 horsepower (19kw) and 30lb-ft (41nm) of torque are available at lower rpms! APR's ECU Upgrade is the best power per dollar modification for the new 1.4TSI and gives it just the extra edge these cars lack from the factory without pushing the limits. (317nm) of torque, gains of up to 41 horsepower (31kw) and 58lb-ft (79nm) of torque are available at lower rpms! Filters and Induction Kits

Pipercross replacement air filters are manufactured in multi-laminated open cell patented reticulated polyurethane foam. Fit directly into standard airbox. They offer 30% more airflow and increased dust capacity.

Carbonio's latest carbon fiber intake for the 2.0 TSI engine is a truly race engineered ram air design that is available for the first time as an affordable street car intake system. Building from years of experience on and off the race track, Carbonio's and APR's engineering teams have spent countless hours developing a true cold air and ram air carbon fiber design that can be recreated affordably for the street performance enthusiast.

Aftermarket performance companies have attempted to capitalize on these designs however the cost restraints have typically resulted in compromise and deviation from the true engineering principles associated with motorsport accomplishment. Don't be fooled by catch phrases and tag lines alluding to a new intake technology or special design characteristic. You won't see any of these gimmicks installed on race cars at the Nurburgring.

Carbonio and APR have gone even further to maintain all oem specifications necessary to integrate cohesively with an otherwise stock engine to avoid raising eyebrows at the dealership. Flexibility was another characteristic of Carbonio's and APR's design whereas the new TSI intake is also suitable for Stage 1 and Stage 2 modified engines all the way up to and beyond APR's Stage 3 Turbocharger System.

2.0T CBFA engines require the Secondary Air Breather Filter listed as an optional extra


The Passat, CC and Tiguan require additional Ram Air Bracketry listed as an optional extra

It will work with any intake for the 2.0 TSI that doesn’t relocate or replace any of the intake stream after the maf housing. It works with the neuspeed just fine.

APR, LLC. announces another successful licensing of a new exhaust technology, RSC™, Reflective Sound Cancellation, to further enhance APR’s line of performance exhaust systems for Volkswagen and Audi vehicles.

Reflective Sound Cancellation allows for maximum exhaust gas flow while completely eliminating in cabin sound resonance (drone). RSC™ incorporates innovative technologies developed in conjunction with NASA. With limited use of packing materials and no baffles, RSC™ allows for a completely straight and free flowing exhaust path through the RSC™ mufflers. Reflective Cancellation bounces the undesirable sound waves into each other to attenuate the wave and completely eliminate the low frequency tones that create drone. Each RSC™ muffler is tuned to eliminate specific, undesirable sound frequencies allowing only the engine’s desirable exhaust notes to be heard and improving performance.
